Having been very disappointed at the lack of good Chinese food in the Durham area, I was extremely pleased to find Wok - In Express in Brooklin. Yes there are a lots of Chinese restaurants in Durham but not good ones! At Wok - In Express, not only is the food they serve fresh and tasty but it is very reasonably priced considering what you get. They use very fresh ingredients and are consistent time after time. The oil they use for the fried items is fresh and the difference can be immediately tasted. Food is not greasy in the least. Try the General Taos chicken, it is addictive. The restaurant is very well located with lots of parking and it is clean. This makes a big difference for me because if you take pride in how your restaurant looks, you will take pride in the product you are serving. Read more

They pride themselves on their staff as well as ensuring that any major game that is playing is on every TV. This means hockey, baseball, football, UFC, golf- you name it they have it. Oh and the wings, fries and garlic dip is delicious. My personal favorite is the Hot n Honey wing sauce or the Suicide wing sauce. I would suggest going on Tuesday for wing night, or on Thurs or Fri which is their busiest nights. I have a permanent disability, and I came to this restaurant to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. Our waitress was named Sarah and she provided our table with excellent service. She took all our orders properly, and had the food served so quick, considering we were a larger group. My 3 children were quite loud, and yet our server was extremely patient and tolerant of my noisy kids. Most waitresses would never be so tolerant. Dessert was very good also. We had a very good time. Even if you are not into sushi, it is worth a trip to Kakemono! My boyfriend LOVES sushi and although I don't mind it, it is not my favourite meal in the world. However, I love Teriyaki and the Teriyaki dishes on Kakemono's all you can eat menu are wonderful. The prices are reasonable when compared to the price you may for most all-you-can-eat places and the food was great. We will be going back in the near future! Read more
