My family and I go here all the time, the food is always really good and the service is very friendly. Have never had a bad experience after 10 years of going for family dinners. I used to eat here on a weekly basis. Great! Huge portions, very reasonable prices. When I visit Toronto, I often go back to Buddha's. Great location also - close to Kensington and Bathurst/College area.
I usually get imitation duck - a layered (a little oily) tofu appetizer. I love the mushroom dishes.
Re: the service and atmosphere: I've had both great and crabby servers here, but the lady that handles the bills (I think it's the owner) has always been super nice to us. The restaurant is clean (usually packed); decor is minimal. I don't visit for the decor.

I order only for delivery very prompt, Food very good and fresh except the chicken wings which are small plain and dry.
When ordering dishes with vegetables staff allows you to choose your own vegetables.
When ordering spicy dishes you can change how much spice you want.
Package nice order takers are very nice.
If a mistake is made they will bring you the proper order quickly or give you a credit which they stand by. I RECOMMEND HIGHLY

The food and portions here are really worth checking out.
A very relaxed casual dinning experience. I've been going here for over 6 years now.
The staff is friendly though the older family members of the restaurant do have some trouble with English.
The foods always hot and made to spec and if you do have questions and concerns they will do their best to make the meal right for you.
My favorite meal choice is the General Tao chicken they serve its a spicy dish that got crispy chicken done up in a hot yet sweet sauce mixed with sesame seeds.
The inside might not look like much but if you appreciate good food and decent prices I recommended it.
The only downside is there really isn't parking so you must look to park on Gage ave.

I wasnt able ro visit the location in person, however the correspondence over the phone and courtesy was amicable for a four star rating on atmosphere. I didnt feel rushed even though I had many questions before and while placing my order and hope to bring my family into the restaurant to dine next time so we can honestly give five stars all across the board.
The meal was delocious! Full, happy, satisfied family! Thanks for a great meal!

I have visited heaven on Earth when I discovered China Garden!! I moved to Canada in 1999, and in August I first discovered this place! Since then, it has been a love affair! The food is as good as in India!! We go here almost every month since the past 11 years!!
