I had the olive dish to start, this dish is simple but very well done, I enjoy some olives with a nice cold pint and a piece of bread to go with it, the oil lightly flavored with fresh herbs, although a better quality oil would have been nice it was still well done. After that i decided to try the fish and chips since it is VERY hard to find good fish and chips I thought if they understand how olives can be enjoyed they might do a good fish a chip, and I was right, homemade chips and a perfectly cooked fish. I recently had lunch (3rd time) at Envers of Morriston, and WOW. What an amazing little secret just south of Guelph. The food always seems to be good in my experience here. I typically order pulled pork poutine (very good, unique), burgers, wraps, etc. I've never been disappointed during my somewhat extended history of visiting the pub. The decor is very busy, typical of brit pubs here, and the service is friendly and timely, not overbearing. Food waiting times are suitable and I've never heard anyone in my party of regulars complain of flat beer, dirty glasses, or hair in their food, as other reviews here indicate. They do have a patio, albeit small and fills up fairly quickly during lunch hour or immediately after work. Read more

I visit this location on a regular basis since I live in the area! First time I visited this location, one of the bartenders asked my name, and remembered it the next time i visited! All of the wait staff are super friendly, and funny! This location has a lot of daily features and drink specials which me and my friends enjoy...Food has always been good, and if there is anything ever wrong or not up to my satisfaction the management and staff make sure it is dealt with so I leave satisfied.
